Our range of Haferl shoes are manufactured from premium leather selected from the best European tanneries. Genuine leather for insole and flap sole is our standard. For most of our models the leather laces are cut out from the upper material.

For the models with Norwegian construction we use the long proven soles with a tread from vibram for Haferl shoes and from SKYWALK for the models Norweger and Blucher. The founder of the company developed this high quality rubber sole already by beginning of the 20th century following the tread of the nailed mountain boots of those days.

For the models with semi-norwegian contruction we use the comfortable and soft rubber sole SOLIGHT, containing a special mixture of rubber. It is a light and flexible sole, antislip, hard wearing and offering a great damping.

The Goodyear welted Haferl shoes have a double leather sole attached by stitching and a leather heel with an antislipping rubber piece.

All models can easily be resoled.
